Search the Document Population
Section titled “Search the Document Population”Farsight offers two methods to search or filter Documents:
- Conditional Searches focus on Document attributes like metadata or applied coding. Create a View or a Saved Query to narrow down your Document population based on Field values.
- Index Searches typically focus on Document content like extracted text. Ultimately the searchable content will depend on the Fields configured during Search Index creation. The section Index Search Overview offers an overview to available operators and illustrates their application by insightful examples.
Document Review and Coding
Section titled “Document Review and Coding”For hands-on Document review check out the basics in User Interface Overview and the advanced features of Document Viewer.
Rating your Documents and preserving these decisions requires a Layout.
Layouts may require Fields of different Field Types. The most significant types for review purposes are:
- Choice for distinct decisions e.g. the relevancy set to “Relevant” or “Not Relevant”.
- Multi-choice for an array of arguments e.g. the reason for redaction with options “PII”, “Business Secrets”, “Privileged”.
- Text for explanatory notes e.g. a comment box to capture the chain of reasoning.
